In Touch Lunch +
All adults from 55 years upwards who are resident locally or live further afield are welcome to come and join us.
Our aim is to keep ‘In Touch’ with each other and with God in the variety of things we do together. This includes a freshly cooked two course lunch served at 12:00pm at a charge of £7.00 (including plenty of tea or coffee). This will be followed by some form of entertainment or speaker. In 2022 we had quite a range of events and visitors including:
- Dementia UK
- A local school’s choir to sing for us
- A platinum jubilee party and thanksgiving for the Queen
- The Evangelical Mary Sisters
- A variety of seasonal talks from staff and friends at Holy Trinity church
- Holy Trinity’s church members talking about their expertise (local history, GP practice, etc)
- Quizzes hosted by various people
- More!
We meet on the second and the fourth Thursday of every month in Holy Trinity Frogmore’s Parish Centre from 12:00 noon to 15:00.
We can provide a car lift for those who need it, and we do this by telephoning those on our car list on the Monday/Tuesday of the week of the In Touch to check if they are coming.
We are a team of servant-hearted Christians who are safely recruited and operate according to the church's safeguarding policy. Our food is mainly prepared by one of our church members, Tom, who runs a catering business called 'All Things Catered' (we highly recommend him!). You can find Tom’s business website below.
