We're passionate about our children and teens at HTF. It's vital that the whole world hears the Good News about Jesus, but it's especially important that we share it with young people. Children and youth work is a particular focus for HTF and we have a range of groups for different ages that meet throughout the week.
All our leaders are carefully recruited and have a current DBS certificate. We adhere carefully to the Church of England Safer Recruitment and Safeguarding standards.
Pre-School
Sunday Creche
During the 10:45 service on Sundays, there is a supervised creche in our Beckingham Room.
TOTSHOTS
Totshots is our very friendly outreach group for pre-school children and
their parents/grandparents or carers. We're open to anyone in the local area,
not just church families - everyone in fact who would like a relaxed hour or
two, meeting new and old friends over coffee.
We provide a happy, playful atmosphere with play, craft, stories and
songs where everyone can hear the Good News of Jesus.
At the end of each term we celebrate with a Christmas party, Easter Egg
Hunt and a Summer picnic. All children who leave us at the end of our Summer
term receive a Scripture Union book, to encourage them with their move to
school.
We meet every Wednesday morning between 9.15am and 10.45am during term times. Contact for further
information.
Primary Aged Children
Sunday Clubs
After worshipping with the main congregation for the first
part of the service, our Primary School aged children leave for their own
age-specific teaching. We read the Bible, play games, pray, sing and do crafts
together. Anyone from 3 to year 6 is welcome.
HotShots
We meet on Fridays from 3.30pm until 4.45pm in the Parish
Centre during term time. Contact for further information.
Teens
Ignite AM
Ignite AM is our group for those in years 6-9. We alternate
between joining in with the whole church service and heading out for our
own Bible study of the same passage. Expect good fun, big questions and hot
chocolate!
Ignite PM (age 11-18)
Ignite:PM runs on Sunday evenings from 5-6.30pm in term
time. Contact for further information.
