Children & Youth

We're passionate about our children and teens at HTF. It's vital that the whole world hears the Good News about Jesus, but it's particularly important that we share it with young people. Children and youthwork is a particular focus for HTF and we have a range of groups for different ages that meet throughout the week.

All our leaders are carefully recruited and have a current DBS certificate. We adhere carefully to the Church of England Safer Recruitment and Safeguarding standards.

After worshipping with the main congregation for 20 minutes (including a kids' talk), our Primary School aged children leave for their Sunday Club groups where they sing, explore a Bible story, make craft and enjoy an all-important snack.

Ignite is our youth group for 10-14 year olds.

We meet during the Sunday 10.30am service and again in the evening at the Parish Centre when we read the Bible together, eat snacks and play games, having plenty of fun as we go! Come and join in ... what's stopping you ?

Ignite:PM runs on Sunday evenings from 5-6.30pm in term time. Contact  for further information.

HotShots is our group for Primary School age children (Years 1-6).

We play games, make craft, sing, hear a Bible story, grab a cheeky snack and explore what faith means for kids. We have an enthusiastic team of helpers who love sharing God's love with our children and helping them grow.

We meet on Fridays from 3.30pm until 4.45pm in the Parish Centre during term time. Contact  for further information.

Re:Fuel is our youth group for 15-18 year olds.

It's a relaxed environment for our young people to explore faith and discipleship as they head into their late teens and all the challenges of a changing world. We have fun - often at a venue with an activity like bowling - explore the Bible and think about what it means to be a Christian in contemporary culture.

We meet on a Sunday evening between 6.30 and 8.00pm in the Parish Centre. Contact  for further information.
